Oh, rain. You keep me inside for so long. I have done nothing today but watch G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra and Hellboy.
No, I don't know anything about G.I. Joe. I only barely like this movie. I find the actors only slightly attractive, if even that. But I do love me some crazy ninja skills.
Why does my favorite character have to the horrible one? Why does he have to be the Nazi? Thank you, Hellboy, for making me feel like a terrible, no good, very bad person.
After seeing both movies back to back, I have decided I would love nothing more than to watch a movie comprised of nothing but Snake Eyes and Karl Kroenen battling it out.
VS
If it were ever possible to make a movie with just these two, I would watch the shit out of it. Every day.
Now, time for V for Vendetta. And it's not even the fifth of November.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Hurm, just in time for his birthday?!?!
This is either the greatest or the worst thing ever.
For now, I'm going to go with the greatest. Personally, I've always thought Abraham Lincoln was a good kind of guy. Now we're making him a vampire hunter? Fuck yeah. While it does have the potential to be awesome, I would hope this won't be the only Lincoln related thing that survives in two thousand years. Oh, but the history lessons would be awesome.
But this also mean I have to go seek out the book to read before the movie comes out. Ah, so the reading list grows longer.
I'm looking forward to this. The original wasn't that bad, quite good in fact (I actually own it on DVD), and I always give remakes the benefit of the doubt. We'll see.
In the mean time, The Woman in Black came out yesterday. Who saw it and what did you think?? I haven't seen it yet since I don't have anyone to go with me. Insert sad face here.
