I think it should be fitting that tonight's movie is 1931's Dracula.
A beautiful classic. One that defined vampires as suave, sexy, well dressed creatures of the night. And no sparkles. We should all do ourselves a favor and go watch it.
Bela's Dracula is still my favorite vampire movie followed by Fright Night - the original of course - and then The Lost Boys. Can't go wrong with Bela's Dracula anytime of the year, but I always felt like there was something special about watching it in Autumn close to Halloween. I would love to see it in an old movie palace.
